Alan Jones AO celebrated 25 successful and influential years in the Australian Media on Friday 5th November 2010 at the Bayside Grand Hall, Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre Darling Harbour.
The night, which was hosted by John Singleton and attended by the elites of the media, arts and politics, also featured tributes from people as diverse as Liberal Party powerbroker Michael Kroger and pop group Human Nature.
Joy McKean OAM, Dr David Kirkpatrick MBBA FACEM and Max Ellis OAM all Directors on the Slim Dusty Foundation Board were there to celebrate Alan Jones, along with Kathryn Yarnold CEO of the Slim Dusty Foundation and Brenda Hyde Office Administrator of the Slim Dusty Foundation.
James Packer delivered an emotional address in honour of Australia's top radio host Alan Jones in honour of celebrating his 25 years as a broadcaster.
