| CELEBRATE WITH THE WINNERS AT A GALA TOURISM DINNER |

| Tickets are now on sale for the 2005 North Coast NSW Tourism Awards for Business Excellence Gala Dinner, featuring special guests, popular country music singer, Anne Kirkpatrick and regular presenter on “The Great Outdoors” on PRIME, Laura Csortan. |
| Anne Kirkpatrick will perform with the Travelling Country Band in aid of the The Slim Dusty Foundation – official beneficiary for this year’s award dinner. |
| Laura Csortan, a former Miss Universe Australia, will compere this gala event to be held in the Auditorium at Panthers Port Macquarie. |
| Tickets cost $75.00 pp and the cost includes a three-course dinner showcasing regional cuisine, local wines, beer, champagne, the entertainment and dancing till midnight with local musicians, The Balance Band. |
| Presentations throughout the night will recognise the best North Coast tourism businesses, many that will go on to represent this region at the New South Wales Tourism Awards later this year. |

| “The awards presentation evening will be a fantastic celebration of our industry and a wonderful showcase of regional produce and entertainment. The entertainment line-up for the evening has wide appeal and we look forward to interested members of the community, joining us for a great night of food, wine and entertainment and most importantly to support and applaud the entrants and winners,” said North Coast NSW Tourism Organisation Chairman, Grant Burtenshaw. |

| “Part of the proceeds from this special event will be donated to the Slim Dusty Foundation in support of the ongoing development of this exciting and important tourism development for the north coast region,” Mr Burtneshaw said. |

| The proposed Slim Dusty Centre, planned to be developed on the Kempsey Show Grounds, incorporates a museum featuring extensive personal memorabilia of Slim Dusty, interactive displays, dining and retail facilities, live recording facilities and an open air concert venue for up to 2000 people. |

| The awards and presentation evening are jointly organised by the tourism offices of Greater Port Macquarie and Macleay Valley Coast. |
