The raffle of the three beautiful red cedar pieces handcrafted by Mr Brian Irvine of Kempsey, has been drawn. The cedar used were pieces of the timber taken from the Nulla Nulla property, Slim's boyhood home.
Many tickets were sold in a bid to own a piece of this fine crafted timber, both here in the Slim Dusty Foundation office as well as at the Tamworth Country Music festival this year. The festival was attended by Mr Kevin Farrawell (an SDF Director) and his lovely wife Phyllis who manned our promotional stall at this years festival.
Mr Steve Pandel, one of Australians most ardent collectors of everything "Slim Dusty" did the honors drawing the three lucky winners in the offices of the Slim Dusty Foundation this week while paying the team a visit.

First place, a red cedar platter was won by Mrs Helen Rutherford,QLD.
Second place, a red cedar bowl was won by Mrs Sandra Rayner, NSW.
