The lineup features Slim's daughter Anne Kirkpatrick, Kirsty Lee Akers, Amos Morris, Steve Passfield and Ruckus.

Bob McWilliam, in conjunction with the South West Rocks Rotary Club and supported by NSW National Parks will present this inaugural event, with all proceeds to go towards the construction of the Slim Dusty Centre in Kempsey, Slim's home town.

"It's going to be a wonderful afternoon's entertainment with quality performers" Mr McWilliam said.

"It would be excellent if you could get 700 people in the gaol."

The Slim Dusty Centre will be a living museum dedicated to the life of Slim Dusty and is destined to become a major tourism drawcard in the Macleay Valley.

Gates will open to the gaol at 10am so bring your blankets and chairs and pick yourself a spot for the afternoon. The South West Rocks Lions Club and the South West Rocks Surf Life Saving Club will host a barbecue, soft drinks, tea and coffee tent. This will be an alcohol free event.

Tickets cost $15 per adult or $35 for a family of four (two adults and two children under 15). Tickets are limited, so get in quick. They are available from Raine & Horne South West Rocks, In harmony Music, Kempsey, or pay at the gate.
