| Victorian Country Music performer, Trevor Dawson, took a detour on his Mid North Coast tour to take an emotional stroll over the proposed site for the Slim Dusty Centre as he felt compelled to visit “Slim Dusty Country” and see where it was all going to happen. | ||||
As a lifelong fan of Slim Dusty, Trevor has always listened to and sang Slim Dusty songs as part of his one hour concert that he performs, with a Slim Dusty tribute as a popular grand finale. Trevor started singing at the age of 14 and has been writing his own music since 1979, and has toured Victoria, NSW, Southern QLD and South Australia for the last 10 years. |

| With an extremely tight tour schedule, Trevor still made time to find his way to the Slim Dusty Foundation offices and happily pulled out his guitar to play a few Slim Dusty tunes for the visitors and staff. “I think that it is a wonderful project and I hope that it will be a great success!
