KEITH URBAN SUPPORTS THE SLIM DUSTY COUNTRY BALL

Multi-award winning Country superstar Keith Urban has this week shown support for the Slim Dusty Foundation, by donating one of his autographed personal guitars for auction, to help raise money at the Slim Dusty Country Ball on Wednesday 31st March 2010.

High profile Country entertainers, Golden Guitar winners and members of the Slim Dusty Family will help celebrate ‘The Slim Dusty Country Ball’ from 6:30pm at the Westin Hotel Sydney.

Urban’s guitar will feature in a live auction as part of the evening’s fundraising efforts with a host of items including; an autographed guitar and hand written lyrics donated by Lee Kernaghan and a limited edition CMC Rocks the Snowy’s Al Tompkins hand crafted electric guitar.

Ray Hadley OAM will host the evening with musical performances by home grown Country entertainers Troy Cassar-Daley, Adam Harvey, The Bushwackers, The Sunny Cowgirls, Lou Bradley and Steve Passfield.

Patrons of the Foundation, Alan Jones AO, John Singleton AM, Dick Smith, Lee Kernaghan OAM and members of Slim Dusty’s family invite everyone to put on their dancing shoes as the country comes to the city for the Royal Easter Show and dance the night away at The Slim Dusty Country Ball.
