General Manager of the Slim Dusty Foundation, Kathryn Yarnold, said, “It was an extremely progressive meeting with the outcome being that the submission of our development application is to occur in September and for that to be hopefully approved by Council by December.”
The site of the new centre is on a 12 hectare Crown Land site off the Pacific Highway at the southern entrance to Kempsey.
Ms Yarnold described the move as, “Another step towards successful completion of the project.”
