Slim Marquee debuts at races |

| Warwick Park Racecourse was a hive of activity on Saturday, October 18, as a special race meeting was held to raise money for the Slim Dusty Foundation. | ||||
More than 40 horses sprinted down the straight as a five race non-TAB meeting was held. |

| About $2000 was raised for the Slim Dusty Foundation and Kempsey Race Club's David Parker said that everyone who turned out enjoyed their day. | ||||
Bookmakers were kept busy with the popular Caulfield Cup and other horse races throughout Australia. |
||||

The races also featured the launch of the Slim Dusty Foundation's new marquee. The marquee displays the Slim Dusty Foundation logo and will be hired out for functions with all proceeds made to be donated to local charities. |
