The Slim Dusty family invite you to join them for "Many Happy Campfire" - a tribute to Slim Dusty in aid of the Slim Dusty Centre, to be held on Friday 13th June, 2008, from 6.30pm at the Westin, Sydney.

To celebrate what would have been Slim Dusty's 81st birthday; Many Happy Campfires will be a performance by the Slim Dusty Family, featuring high profile country and pop entertainers. Ray Hadley OAM will be the Master of Ceremonies on the evening with special guests and entertainment including Lee Keraghan, Gina Jeffreys, Melinda Schneider, Jimmy Little, Amos Moris and more.....

All funds raised on the night will go towards The Slim Dusty Foundation and his dream of building a centre where the memorabilia collected all over Australia during his long and illustrious career could be shown, and where visitors would be involved in an interactive journey through the heart and soul of Australia. The Centre will also develop scholarships to assist young talented musical artists to obtain the best possible start to their country music careers.

This is a real opportunity to not only have a memorable night out, but importantly, to support a worthy local project and share in the history that unfolds as we step closer to bringing the Slim Dusty Centre to reality!
