Walking together in wellbeing, connecting through culture | Durri ACMS
Next date: Tuesday, 17 November 2026 | 12:00 AM
Durri Aboriginal Corporation Medical Service is proud to announce its second Social and Emotional Wellbeing Conference, to be held on beautiful Dunghutti Country on 17 and 18 November 2026.
The conference will bring together community members, service providers, professionals and leaders for two powerful days of culture, connection, learning, healing and meaningful conversations about the issues affecting Aboriginal communities. There will be a strong focus on the real challenges being experienced locally and, importantly, the work being undertaken to respond to them.
The incredible line-up of guest presenters includes:
- Adam Goodes
- Dr Clinton Schultz
- Joe Williams
- Nancy Bates
- Rowena Lawrie
Across the two days, Durri will showcase a range of local programs, initiatives and service responses that are helping to strengthen social and emotional wellbeing, support healing, improve access to care, and address the challenges facing individuals, families and the wider community.
The conference is about more than listening to presentations. It is about creating a space to reconnect, reflect, share knowledge and strengthen the relationships, understanding and collaboration that support future generations.
Community members, Aboriginal health workers, social and emotional wellbeing and health professionals, service providers, community organisations, and anyone passionate about improving health and wellbeing are encouraged to attend.
Please keep an eye on Durri ACMS' Facebook page for more information and registration details.
