Experience Slow Signals, an innovative BioArt exhibition by artist and biologist Pip Beale, where art, biology and technology come together in unexpected ways.

Using Chlorella vulgaris, a single-celled algae species, Pip creates living artworks that challenge traditional ideas of image-making. These works are built from living cells, creating images that evolve and transform over time.

A major feature of the exhibition is a unique living image translation device that receives images through light and reinterprets them through living algae. As the exhibition progresses, the artwork continues to grow and change, meaning no two visits are exactly the same.

The exhibition invites visitors to slow down, observe change over time and consider how living systems might become active participants in art.
